Sheila lived at the hospital for about a decade. She was full of sass and would always make it clear how annoyed she was when a client was upset or grieving. She was full of sass and would always make it clear how annoyed she was when getting medications, nail trims, etc; She preferred attention on her terms and usually had a petting threshold; but she always knew when a client was upset or grieving and would climb on their laps to comfort them. She helped teach so many new staff how to medicate cats over the years, and she always commanded a huge presence at the clinic. Her favorite things in life were laying in Chris' perfect donut shaped lap, drinking from water faucets/fountains, getting a dose of buprenex when she would tweak one of her poor arthritic joints, laying on boxes much too small for her size, and walking across everyone's keyboards at the worst moments. R.I.P. Sheila aka Sheila Beasley, Beasley, She Bee, Beazinator, Queen B. May you never know osteoarthritis pain ever again, and the faucet always be left running. (Now that you don't have to wait on us stupid humans to come turn it on for you)??????
