Don’t grieve too long for now I’m free, I’ve followed the path God set for me.
My life was full, you gave so much, your time, your love, your gentle touch.
My parting left you with a void, please fill it with remembered joy.
1000 words won’t bring you back, I’ve tried. 1000 tears won’t bring you back, I’ve cried.
I know your sadness, I have worn those very same shoes. I'm here for you.
